Let's start off with planning an ad. You want to research your target market because these are the group of people you want to see your ad. Doing this helps narrow down the people who could purchase your product or service.

Next, let's start creating a campaign. In Adwords click on the campaign button and make sure it is set to search engine only as well as making sure All Features is selected. You can set your bid to however much you want to spend. To start off you might want to do the lowest amount. Once you get the hang of it you can make it higher. One thing you want to make sure you do is set an end date for your campaign. As of right now starting out with two days is good because you can see how it works.

Lastly, creating an ad. Using this tool it explains what you need to fill in. Each line refers to different information and shows an explanation of what your ad looks like. Keywords are a huge part in this selection because this is what people will be searching for on Google. If they search your keyword it is possible they might find your ad. This tool also helps you with finding keywords to use because of the information you added to the planning stage. Now you want to click on estimate search traffic. Google shows you the average clicks a day and the cost a day. This will relate back to your budget you set for the day. Now save your ad group and you just created your campaign! Testing it out will help you become more familiar with the program.
