MTKG-345-Week 2 - Shifting towards technology

Shifting to technology is becoming an enormous part of everyone's lives, if we are willing to accept it or not. Personally, being a college student I have run into this shift of technology quite quickly. Certain classes will require technology such as looking up homework, or working on an assignment. While other classes are solely based on using a computer or different programs.

My major is marketing and at my university most of our core classes are theory based where we heavily rely on a book. Discovering this throughout my business classes many skills for potential jobs require skills in technology. This made me shift more of my classes towards learning how to use technology based programs that I would potentially use in the future.

I decided this on my own because I am willing to accept the shift in technology that will be happening in the next few years. An example would be today most traditional marketing firms are shifting their way into digital marketing due to this shift in technology. It's better to be ahead of the game instead of trying to get back into the game.
