MKTG 345-Week 12- WCIYP Ch. 10 How to Deal with Any Handicaps You Have

Have you ever felt that you can't be hired somewhere because you feel you have a handicap that holds you back? This can be a physical handicap, not having a qualification, age, race, gender or appearance. It doesn't necessarily have to do with a physical handicap, it just has to be something you feel that will hold you back from not getting hired.

The most important thing I took away from this chapter is the fact that employers divide you into two categories, what you can do and what you can't do. This may seem defeating if you feel that they put you into the category of "what you can't do" but this gives you the opportunity to show them things you can do that can help with showing how you can fix those can't do. If you see this in your interview you can explain to them that those "what you can't do" are your weakness but a strength of mine is understanding those weaknesses and creating them into a strength.
