MKTG 347- Week 3- Building Your Website

Social Media is a great tool to gain traffic from your target markets on different platforms. Depending on the business, you may have your own website where your customers buy your products. Creating content around your website is how to gain more individuals to visit your website from other platforms. I have found companies on Instagram which lead me to purchase from their website. If they never posted on their Instagram I wouldn't have made a purchase due to not knowing their company.

For this class I created a Facebook page for my photography business. I also have created a website using Wix. I have experience in using this platform in past classes by creating mock websites for a start-up business as well as a client.


Here is a screen shot of my Wix page and some of it's content. It is very easy to use and there are preset themes as well with stock images you can use. They provide a great tool for a free website. I personally felt this was the best free site.
