Image
Google AdWords is such an amazing tool to help you learn more about ads that appear on Google's search engine. They created a certification program which is free to anyone who would want to become certified. This is great to put on your resume. Starting the certification process, you need to create a  google partner's  account. This is where the study materials are provided to learn more in depth of Google AdWords. You just need to study the material and then you can take the exam. If you want to get a feel for what kind of questions are on the exam you can take it before looking at the study materials.  The great thing about it is there are four sections you can learn about but you only need to pass two exams to get the certification. Also, you can retake the exams every week until you pass, which is a 80%.

Two ad extensions you can add to your campaigns are site links and callouts. Site links allows you to add a link to a certain page of your website. An example of this would be if you wanted to showcase the About Me section of your website. If you go to your campaign and click extensions it you can create a site link. This allows the consumer to click on the About Me and goes directly to that part of the website. Another great thing is a call out where you can promote something underneath the description of the ad. You have probably seen these when you search a store online and it shows "Free Shipping!" or some deal going on. This bring attention to their ad and hopefully helps the consumer to purchase on the site. This feature is in the ad extension section and is a great tool to have on a campaign where you are trying to attract more consumers to purchase off your website.
